Mobile dashboards are meant to offer quick clarity, especially when it comes to finances. But clean visuals and smooth interactions aren’t enough if the experience doesn’t feel right.

We just launched a new Mobile Dashboard Concept Page that breaks down how to test these high-frequency experiences with a focused set of UX metrics. To show how it works, we tested the Bank of America mobile app dashboard, where users manage account balances and monitor spending.

Here’s how it scored:

The dashboard was easy to use and didn’t require much effort, but users didn’t feel _great_ about the experience. A reminder that functionality doesn’t always equal confidence, calm, or satisfaction…especially in high-stakes contexts like money management.

This Concept Page digs into how to surface those emotional blind spots and how to structure a test that goes beyond just task success.

📣 What other types of mobile dashboards should we test next?
Spending trackers? Workout apps? Crypto wallets?

Time to value is super important in mobile, since most users don’t have the patience to figure things out. The **[effort score](https://glare.helio.app/define/ux-metrics/behavioral-metrics/effort)** (tested on mobile device) is a great way to validate this quickly.

Super cool @MoData. I’d loveee to see a workout app dashboard. I am a bigggg fan of my Whoop but when I first got it, I found the dashboard and navigation to be so overwhelming. Its super data heavy, which is nice, but laying that out can be challenging for sure.

Agreed! I know we both use the Apple Fitness app (and so does my whole house), would be fun to get that tested
