Interesting. He looks like he’s focusing mainly on heuristics, but I could be wrong. Aligning these is good (we are doing this in user needs).
Here’s what I think UX framework needs to include:
- Clear user outcome
- Shared vocabulary
- Evidence collection method
- Signal interpretation rules
- Path from findings to decisions
- Continuous improvement loop
- Link between user outcomes and business outcomes
- Simple structure that teams can use quickly
I think right now, simple is the part we’re working on. Complexity lives underneath.
Agreed. Gotta keep making this relevant and more easily consumable (by niching down).
