We’ve been working on improving our team’s processes with AI over the last few months. Here are a few patterns that have started coming up:
1) People want control
Users want the ability to define the context and to adjust what’s outputted. Being able to explore the original data, context, and outputs are powerful. It also feels great to be a collaborator.
2) AI Gets You 80% There
There has rarely ever been the case where you can simply copy over the output from ChatGPT and ship out an email (or, whatever other use case you can think of).
There are always tweaks to be made.
3) Defining The Processes Are Half The Battle
Defining the processes aren’t the hardest part- understanding them is. Decisions are being made within teams. To have AI be even a little useful, you have to know what goes into it all.
Curious, have any other teams here been working on automating internal (or even external) workflows lately?
