Manifesting a kick ass 2026!

Glare Peeps - In my little world I’m bigggg into “speaking things into existence” and it feels like we would be missing an opportunity if we didn’t do this together as we roll into the new year.

We’ve got some really really talented people in this group and you never know who might be in here to help you achieve your goals. That being said, drop what you’re manifesting for 2026. :tada: I’ll go first… here are my big 3.

  1. Stay closely aligned with how design practice is changing so I can better support designer growth and ensure our team remains kick ass & effective.
  2. Continue to lean into outcomes vs outputs. (value over volume)
  3. (and a personal one) Complete my first HYROX race.

Love this… here are my Glare goals for 2026:

  1. Launch Glare v1.0- we’re gonna do this folks!
  2. Run 500 Glare assessments- help product & design leaders drive their orgs.
  3. Release my book- inspire product and design teams to prove impact.

Excited to shape these ideas together with the community.

Hmmm, I have a few

  1. Get our design review tool out of beta and into production so that more people can start to use it
  2. Just like @nathaliesmith, lean into outcomes over outputs even better than last year.
  3. (personal one for good taste, lol) Get back into a strict eating habit and working out daily

Really excited for the book @Bryan !

Fantastic idea @nathaliesmith . My three are:

  1. Launch my internal platform to make myself redundant (will talk more about it once it is close to ready)
  2. Strengthen existing geographies for my team and set up my first touch point in the US for my company.
  3. Write more (even a little would beat my last years cadence).

@Bryan PUMPED! 500 assessments, in a year… around 1.4 (:winking_face_with_tongue:) assessments per day. I think we can crush this.

@nikhil_mahen Love these :tada: Can’t wait to hear more about your internal platform, I’m intrigued.

”Write more (even a little would beat my last years cadence).” What are you most excited to write about?

Topics at the top my head:

  1. Would love to write more introspective pieces on how ai affects the industry
  2. Comics for by 9 month old daughter (I’ve created a few so far but im looking for a better and mote consistent comic generator)
  3. Pipe dream would be to get back to writing stories like I used to.

  • Get my wife’s LLC up and running- and then market it
  • Obtain more work so I can afford to do the first two things (and also pay my bills)

Love this! We’re glad to have you.

Curious- what UX personas are your looking at/what sort of tactic will you be using to define them?

While we’re still manifesting:

  1. Focus time on building community and connections, not merely broadcasting.
  2. Identify where I can push on my discomfort, then take two steps beyond.
  3. Notice when multi-tasking gets in the way of productivity. Bring singular focus.
