What are some job trends you’re seeing in the design space currently? One I’m noticing is the want / need for more “T Shaped” people. Seems there is a ton of value in being able to contribute throughout the product lifecycle.

Happy Hump Day peeps! Continuing to update and clean up our Design Leader opportunities list! We’ve added 10 new opportunities.
A pattern I’m seeing, Gone are the days of “managing” designers. You should expect to scale design, build systems, incorporate AI/automation, and embed design thinking across the organization.
Should we do a post on how to successfully lean into these buckets? (scale design, build systems, incorporate AI/automation, embed design thinking)

Came across this post, which seems to be a trend in how Design Leadership is viewed. I wonder, though, will these ideas stick, as this seems to be a continuous cycle every 7-8 years.
I even write about this. I built on Rachel Kobetz idea: design isn’t downstream from strategy anymore, it’s the infrastructure that turns strategy into advantage.
