Testing Dreamforce's Event Registration Page

Dreamforce just happened in San Francisco last week, which means thousands of users flowed through Salesforce’s registration page. So we figured: what better time to test it?

We just launched a new Event Registration Page Concept Page that explores how to evaluate these time-sensitive, high-stakes pages using a stack of UX metrics that uncover both emotional and behavioral reactions.

The page was visually appealing and sparked moderate interest, but the scores show a major drop when it came to driving action or building loyalty. Users didn’t feel strongly motivated to register, and few said they’d recommend the event after seeing the page.

That’s the value of testing before the launch. These are the kinds of signals that help teams rethink what’s persuasive, what’s clear, and what needs reworking to drive conversion.

The Concept Page walks through how we ran this test, and how you can use a similar design stack to evaluate any event registration flow, from big conferences to small webinars.

Love this! Great work here, Morgan.

@tim_banks , @mila_shumilina , @harsha_singhal , any thoughts on this concept page?

Super cool example, @MoData. I really like how this can be applicable at a large & small scale depending on the need!
